Kaniche BennettKaniche Bennett is a Group Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the North Carolina Group’s diversity and community relations initiatives and all talent development programs. This includes the implementation of innovative employee engagement approaches for increasing a diverse candidate pool, consistency in hiring practices, advances learning opportunities for all employees and supports initiatives to advance minorities to management positions, as well as monitoring the training programs for effectiveness. She is responsible for the assessment of the group’s training and development needs in all business areas, which include daily rental, truck rental, car sales, fleet management, and administration.

Prior to assuming her current role, Kaniche was the Group Relations Manager for North Carolina.

Kaniche not only demonstrates her leadership abilities at work, but also in her community. Most recently she served as Board Chair for the Urban League of Central Carolinas, she was on the Girl Talk Advisory Council, served as a council member for the United Way Central Carolinas Allocations committee, an active visiting professor through the National Urban League’s Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP), Carolinas/Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council corporate member, team mom for her children’s sports and activities, a member of Nations Ford Community Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She has been awarded an Urban League Young Professional Leadership award spotlighting her work in the community and is also a 2012 Charlotte Catalyst honoree.

Kaniche grew up in Oklahoma City, OK, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS. She was promoted to the North Carolina Group in 2005 and has been busy ever since with her passion of people development both personally and professionally.

Kaniche is the wife of Nyron and mother of four and resides in Charlotte, NC.
